Chrono is a mass participation individual time trial. Riders are set off a start ramp at 20-30 second intervals in the relevant UCI age gender classifications. Golazo Cycling Chrono events are held on closed roads over a sporting route of approx. 30kms and have a capacity of 500 to 1000 riders. The first three of each age / gender classification are invited to received medals and prizes on the podium. Golazo Cycling Chronos are supported with medical services. A number of the Golazo Cycling Chrono events are qualifying events for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.
Golazo Cycling Chrono events also benefit from a substantial, supported warm up area, countdown clocks and event production.
